Public Transportation
     With the General Assembly poised to enact a funding source for regional transportation in the Triangle, it is time for our citizens to be given the opportunity to vote on whether to enhance bus service and the initial two legs of train service. We have become one of the 50 biggest cities in our country, but we cannot grow and succeed in the future unless we have adequate public transportation.
     The additional bus service and initial train service will help make us competitive as Raleigh evolves into what I hope will be the best mid-sized City in the United States.
